Friendly People describe their sound as "folk infused indie rock." The music swings from intimate acoustic moments to cathartic bursts of energy, and singer Pat McCusker leads each song with passion as he belts the words. With one foot in Boston and one foot in Brooklyn, the band has captivated audiences up and down the Northeast, then set out to conquer SXSW two years in a row. Their debut album "Shake" features over 20 musicians, capturing the spirit of community the band's name represents. Though their latest efforts have seen the band refocus on a smaller group, Friendly People still strive to capture the fun and joy of home-grown music.
